Investment Thesis
What We Acquire,
and How We Create Value
We acquire exceptional industrial and strategic businesses where disciplined ownership, operational transformation and international market access can unlock long-term value.
01 — What We Seek
Investment Criteria
Industrial and strategic businesses with:
Strong underlying operations
Defensible market positions
Transformation potential
Export potential
Experienced management
Opportunity for professionalization
International expansion potential
What We Invest In
Industrial Companies
Manufacturing, engineering, and processing businesses with durable market positions and genuine operational merit.
Strategic Assets
Mission-critical assets and platforms where ownership discipline and long horizons create outsized value.
Infrastructure
Essential infrastructure and logistics platforms underpinning regional industrial supply chains.
Energy
Generation, efficiency, and energy-services platforms exposed to the region's modernisation agenda.
Regulated-Market Businesses
Businesses operating under regulatory frameworks, where compliance capability is a competitive moat.
Family-Owned & Entrepreneur-Led
Succession situations where we act as long-term stewards rather than transient financial owners.
Special Situations
Complex, under-managed, or capital-constrained situations that reward patient, informed capital.
02 — Ownership
Ownership Is Our Operating Model
Majority Ownership
We acquire controlling positions — responsibility for outcomes cannot be delegated.
Control
Strategic, financial, and operational direction is set deliberately, with full accountability.
Governance
Institutional governance is installed in every holding: boards, controls, and reporting discipline.
Accountability
As permanent capital, we answer for our companies to ourselves, our partners, and our reputation.
Long-Term Alignment
No fund clock, no forced exit. Alignment with owners, management, and capital partners runs in decades, not cycles.
Active Ownership
We are engaged owners — present in the business, close to management, and accountable for performance.

04 — Holding Period
Not a Fund Clock
We are not a fund. We are a permanent-capital holding — so our holding period is not fixed by a fund cycle. We hold a business as long as value continues to compound under our ownership.
Of the 20 companies in the Holdings' portfolio register, three have been fully realised as completed exits*; the remainder are retained holdings we continue to own, transform, and scale.
*Historical figures relating to completed acquisitions and holdings of EL Engineering Industrial Holdings and its predecessor firm. Definitions are provided on our Track Record page.
05 — Exit
Built for the Next Owner
The objective of ownership is to build a stronger, scalable company that can transition to an appropriate next owner or strategic partner — when the time is right, and not before.
Exits are made to strategic buyers, capital partners, management, or public markets — on the merits of the business, never on the demands of a redemption schedule.
